Version 2.03 27. Juni 2008
3.2.2.4 Disabling compressors
Controller type: UA 111 X and UA 111 XP only
The compressors not required must be tagged as disabled in the corresponding menu. In the same manner, the
compressors used must be tagged as enabled.
3.2.2.5 Limiting compressor starts
Controller type: UA 111 XP only
As a means of protecting the compressors from motor damage, the maximum allowed number of compressor
starts per hour can be defined jointly for all compressors.
3.2.2.6 Compressor load/unload delay
Controller type: UA 111 X and UA 111 XP
A load delay can be defined for each compressor, requiring the set time to expire after exceeding the tempera-
ture setpoint before the compressor is started. In the same manner, an unload delay can be defined for stopping
the compressor.
3.2.2.7 Forced actuation (bypass interval)
Controller type: UA 111 XP
In certain operating states it may happen that the pressure switch does not demand any additional compressor
over an extended period although the refrigeration point requires additional refrigeration output. Accordingly, a
time interval can be defined in minutes for forced actuation, after which the controller will load a compressor re-
gardless of none being demanded by the pressure switch.
This interval is reset every time a cooling relay is energized. Actuation takes place for the duration of the bypass
interval set in seconds. After that time, control of the compressors is restored to the pressure switch.
