The pusher flag is physically locked into the press plate. A small metal block is used to spring
closed to keep the pusher flag locked in place.
Stop plate is
adjustable for the
compression of the
spring block.

During the extracted movement the spring is compressed and pusher swing is raised
disengaging the pusher flag from the press plate.
Pusher is in the up
position.
Block spring is
compressed.
Carriage is in the
extracted position.
