3-1. Setting the Sound

To select the sound source
The DisplayPort cable and HDMI cable transmit sound signals along with video signals. Select whether the
sound signals are to be input through these cables or by using a stereo mini jack cable.
Adjustable Range
• DisplayPort: DisplayPort, Stereo Mini Jack
• HDMI (video signal): HDMI, Stereo Mini Jack
Procedure
1. Choose “Sound” from the Setting menu, and press
.
2. Choose “Source” from the “Sound” menu, and press
.
The “Source” menu appears.
3. Use or for adjustment.
4. Press
to exit.
Note
• In the following cases the setting is xed as “Stereo Mini Jack” and cannot be changed.
- At DVI-D signal input
- When using a DVI-HDMI conversion cable

To adjust the volume
The volume of the headphones can be adjusted.
Adjustable Range
0 to 30
Procedure
1. Press

The volume adjustment menu appears.
2. Use or for adjustment.
3. Press
to exit.
Attention
• If a speaker with built-in amplier is attached to the line output connector, adjust the volume on the external speaker.
You cannot adjust the volume using the control buttons on the monitor.
