Chapter 3 Setting the Monitor

To adjust the sound level
The level of the sound input can be adjusted.
Since the average sound levels of external devices differ, differences in the volume of sound may arise
depending on the input. By adjusting the level, these differences in the volume of sound can be reduced.
Adjustable Range
-1 to 1
Procedure
1. Choose “Sound” from the Setting menu, and press
.
2. Choose “Sound Level” from the “Sound” menu, and press
.
The “Sound Level” menu appears.
3. Use or for adjustment.
4. Press
to exit.
Attention
• This function acts on the sound signals to headphones.
Note
• For example, if the volume difference between PC1 and PC2 becomes large, the difference can be reduced by raising
the “Sound Level” setting of the PC with the smaller volume.
3-2. Setting the Power Indicator
This function allows you to set whether to turn ON/OFF the power indicator (blue) when the monitor is ON.
Procedure
1. Choose “Monitor Settings” from the Setting menu, and press

2. Choose “Power Indicator” from the “Monitor Settings” menu, and press
.
The “Power Indicator” menu appears.
3. Select “On” or “Off” with or .

3-3. Setting the Logo Display on the Back of the Monitor
The LED light on the back of the monitor can be switched on and off.
Procedure
1. Choose “Monitor Settings” from the Setting menu, and press

2. Choose “Rear Logo Light” from “Monitor Settings”, and press

3. Select “On” or “Off” with or .

Attention
• When the power is switched off by pressing , and in the energy saving mode, the LED on the back of the monitor is
turned off.
