Code 28: Duress Code
The Duress code is designed for situations where the user is being forced to operate the system. This user code grants
access to the selected operation, while sending a Duress event message to the central station.
Code 29: Telecontrol Code
The Telecontrol code is designed to enable the user to perform a number of tasks via their telephone using DTMF
commands. Using this code, the user can call their system to arm and disarm, turn on and off Home automation units,
activate and deactivate the PGM output, cancel siren activation or establish Two-Way Audio communication. In
partitioned systems, Telecontrol Code is always assigned to both partitions same as Master Code.
Code 30: Central Station TWA Code
The Central Station TWA code is designed to enable the central station operator to establish Two-Way Audio
communication with the Control System after an alarm. This code is valid for use for the first ten minutes after an
alarm has occurred. This code can only be used for this specific purpose and does not grant access to any additional
system functions such as disarming.
Code 31: Guard Code
Guard Code is an option that allows a security guard to check the premises in case of an alarm.
Code 32: Installer Code
The Installer code grants access to the Programming menu and the Service menu. Additionally, this code enables you
to view and clear the Event Log.
Caution: The default Installer code is 1111. Change this code immediately after installing the system!
4.4.1. Editing User Codes
To edit a user code:
1. From the main menu, select User Codes [4].
2. Select the code you want to edit.
3. From the code’s sub-menu, select Edit Code [#1]; the 4-digit code is displayed with the cursor flashing
on the first digit.
4. Edit the code.
5. Press ; the new code is stored in the memory.
Note: If you enter a code that is identical to an existing user code, the Control System sounds an error tone
and the new code is not accepted.
4.4.2. Deleting User Codes
To delete a user code:
1. From the main menu select, User Codes [4].
2. Select the code you want to delete.
3. From the code’s sub-menu, select Edit Code [#1]; the 4-digit code is displayed with the cursor flashing
on the first digit.
4. Enter 0000.
5. Press ; the code is deleted.
Note: The Installer and Master codes cannot be deleted.
4.4.3. User Code Descriptors
Each user code can be assigned a 16-character descriptor. These descriptors help to identify users in the event log and
in SMS Follow-Me messages.
To edit a code descriptor:
1. From the main menu, select User Codes [4].
2. Select a code.
3. From the code’s sub-menu, select Descriptor [#2].
