To remove the Decoder Board from the upper purged enclosure, proceed as follows:
(1) Disconnect the Analyzer 120VAC power source.
(2) Loosen two screws securing the round Analyzer electronics faceplate, and remove the
faceplate.
(3) Remove the two printed circuit board assemblies. Pull firmly, making sure that the wiring
harness does not catch on the top of either card. Place each card in an anti-static protection
bag.
(4) Unscrew the two nylon spacers to which the faceplate was mounted.
(5) Disconnect the three power leads from the terminal strip (TB1) in the lower right corner of
the Decoder Board.
(6) Disconnect the brown connectors at the top. Grasp each connector by its top and bottom
side, and depress to release the hold-down catch. Only a small pressure is required, but the
connector must be fully engaged for the latch to release. Pull the connector with a left/right,
up/down motion until it disengages. A screwdriver will help in depressing the top catch.
(7) Release the four captive screws holding the board in the rear of the electronics housing.
(8) Pull the card forward to release it from the two studs near the center top and bottom of the
board.
(9) Remove the board.
