2.4.1 Equipotential bonding conductor
The X-STREAM XEFD enclosure provides
an additional terminal for connecting an equi-
potential conductor, located at the base part
ange´s rear side (see g. 2-15), near the
nameplate label.
Screw thread: M5 x 10 mm
Conductor cross section: min. 4 mm²
The installation has to comply with sound
engineering practice (see example to the
right). Take care of contact corrosion due to
the aluminum cast enclosure.

1 Lock washer
2 Ring terminal
3 Flat washer
4 Lock washer

The bonding conductor must be
at least the same section as the
power supply cable!
The thread depth is 10 mm.
Use a screw with a matching
thread length to make sure
that the ring terminal (2) of the
bonding conductor is securely
connected!
