Rod probes
For rod probes with reference reflection the probe rod is delivered separately and has to be
mounted as follows:

1. Screw the counter nut onto the connection thread (M10x1) of the gland. Take care that the
chamfer is oriented to the gland.
2. Place a pair of Nord-Lock washers on the thread.
3. Screw the probe rod with the larger diameter onto the thread and fasten it hand-tight.
4. Place the second pair of Nord-Lock washers on the threaded bolt.
5. Screw the probe rod with the smaller diameter onto the threaded bolt and tighten it with
15 Nm (torque wrench/spanner AF14).
After mounting the probe rod in the stilling well or bypass, check and - if necessary - correct
the settings in the unpressurized state (® ä 78).

secured with these.
