After mounting the rod probe in the stilling well or bypass, check and - if necessary - correct the
setting of the reference distance in the unpressurized state. Whilst doing so the level should be at
least 200 mm below the reference distance L

to achieve maximum accuracy.

Select the "On" option in order to activate gas phase
compensation.

Check whether the displayed reference distance matches the
nominal value (300 mm or 550 mm, respectively; see the
nameplate).
If yes: nor further actions required.
If no: continue with step 3.

Enter the value indicated in "Present reference distance".
