7 Maintenance
Maintenance work has to be performed at regular intervals to ensure the efficient operation of the
analyzer.

Before attempting to service the device, you must be completely familiar with the maintenance
processes and have perfectly understood the tasks involved. All the maintenance tasks described in
this chapter should only be carried out by suitably trained specialists. Mistakes made during
maintenance can result in inaccurate operation and pose a safety hazard.
The maintenance intervals depend greatly on your application. For this reason, adapt the
maintenance intervals to your specific requirements but make sure to perform these maintenance
tasks regularly!
Interval Maintenance task
At least once per week • Visual inspection
• Check sample conditioning (see corresponding Operating Instructions)
At least once per month • Check feed rate of pump P1/P4 and P2
• Replace standard
Every 3 months at the latest • Clean strip and separation chamber
• Replace glass bead
• Adjust pH sensor
• Replace pump hoses
If salt quantity > 1 g/l, then
perform the following every 3
months at the latest:
• Replace acid filter
• Replace catalyst
• Clean combustion pipe
