7.1 Cleaning the housing
"
Caution!
When cleaning, make sure you do not damage the nameplate on the analyzer! Do not use cleaning
agents containing solvents!
Clean the analyzer housing as follows:
Use fluoride-free cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
7.2 Visual inspection

Warning!
There is a risk of infection when working with wastewater! For this reason, wear protective goggles,
protective gloves and protective clothing.

Warning!
Contact with hot parts near the combustion furnace may cause injury! For this reason, wear
heat-resistant gloves.
Carry out the visual inspection at least once a week:
Check the time and date of the analyzer.
Check whether the measurement is operating in the standard range.
Is the sample supply OK? To check, hold a collecting vessel under the valve and set the valve
briefly to "Manual sample". Does the sample flow out of the bypass?
Is sample being dosed into the furnace?
Are hoses P1 to P3 (optionally P4) leak-tight?
Is sufficient C1 and C2 standard still available?
Is sufficient stripping acid still available?
Check the gas supply.
Cylinder pressure regulator at 2 bar (29 psi)?
Circuit gas (right flowmeter) at 0.7 to 1.2 l/min (0.18 to 0.32 gal/min)?
Is the water supply pressure at 3 ±0.2 bar (43 ±3 psi)?
Is the acid filter free of condensate and not severely discolored?
Check stripping gas bubbling.
Does the rotating slit filter rotate uniformly?
Is a slit visible between the rotating slit filter and the housing?
