Configure CIU Prime
The CIU Prime is an interface between the field instrumentation
(e.g. 854 ATG, 873 SmartRadar, etc.) and inventory systems
(CIU Plus, DCS, PLC, etc.).
Input boards
There are four slots available in the CIU Prime. These slots can
handle two different types of boards:

ark) to interface the Enraf field bus.
• RS-232C/RS485 input board to interface the 858 CIU.
Output boards
Two fixed RS-232C/RS485 output boards interface to a CIU Plus,
DCS, PLC, etc.
Press the ‘Copy’-button to copy the highlighted CIU Prime from the
list. Only specific data must be changed afterwards.
When the CIU Prime is not in the list (yet), a new CIU Prime has to be
created. Press the ‘New’-button to add a CIU Prime:
