[ Clear the protection counter value ]
1. Choose the “Clear the protection counter value” in the
“Maintenance” menu and click the “OK” button.

2. By clicking the “OK” button, the following menu is displayed.

3. After you read the description on the menu, click the “OK” button.
When the “OK” button is clicked, the following message is displayed
on the bottom column in the menu.

CAUTION
n Be sure to replace the installed waste ink pad with a
new one after or before you clear the current
protection counter value.
