Turn off the product.

Open the ribbon cassette cover.

Turn the knob on the ribbon cassette two or three times in the direction of
the arrow.

Remove the used ribbon cassette if there is one.
Confirm the direction of the arrow indicated on the ribbon cassette and then make sure you turn
the knob in the same direction. Turning the knob in the opposite direction may damage the rib-
bon cassette.
