Make sure that the wheelchair is not operated in the immediate vicinity of the following sources of
radio waves:
• Mobile phones
• Electr. medical devices, please consult with healthcare professionals)
• Other electromagnetic radiation sources
Interactions with electromagnetic fields
In order to exclude interference with other electromagnetic fields, avoid, as far as possible, opera-
ting the wheelchair in the immediate vicinity of the following radiation sources:
• Automatic shop doors
• Alarm and security systems
• Garage door controls
If malfunctions occur in connection with the above -mentioned sources, inform the dealer of your
wheelchair immediately.
• Do not operate portable transmitters or communication devices (e. g. radios, mobile phones, etc.)
in the vicinity of the wheelchair.
• Avoid proximity to radio, television, and mobile phone antennas.
• In case of electromagnetic interference, turn off the equipment.

2.8. Dangers during transport and assembly
When transporting and assembling the wheelchair, dangers may occur due to weight and moving
parts. To avoid these dangers, please refer to the instructions in the following
sections.
2.8.1. Dangers from improper transport
• The wheelchair may only be transported without occupants. Wheelchair users must use the seats
in the vehicle.
• The lap and calf belts are not used to transport the wheelchair but exclusively to secure the user
while using the wheelchair.
