7.2. Switching on
CAUTION
Checking the wheelchair before commissioning
Please observe the following instructions before commissioning the equipment:
• Check the batteries and the connection cable for damage.
• Make sure the operating module is connected to the wheelchair steering.
• Inspect the wheelchair visually.
To switch on the wheelchair, proceed as follows:
1. Press the "On" button on the operating module.
There will be a signal tone. The battery and speed displays light up. The wheelchair is switched on.
7.3. Switching off
To switch off the wheelchair, proceed as follows:
1. Press the "Off" button on the operating module.
There will be a signal tone. The displays on the operating module no longer light up.
The wheelchair is switched off.
7.4. Driving the wheelchair
In the following section, you will find information on using and operating the wheelchair.
CAUTION
Dangers due to careless use
Before using the wheelchair, please observe the following instructions to avoid injury and property
damage:
• Put on the lap belt before using the wheelchair.
• Be careful not to hang items such as bags etc. on the batteries.
• Do not drive the wheelchair on your own until you have mastered all the basic manoeuvres
such as accelerating, decelerating, etc.
• Please observe the safety instructions in section "2 Safety" on page 09.
