9.3. Disassembly
To disassemble the wheelchair, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply (electrical system) and secure it against being switched on again.
2. Discharge energy storage, e. g. batteries or capacitors.
3. Disassemble the wheelchair into its components using suitable tools.
NOTE
Good to know:
The capacity of batteries can be tested by us, so that the battery
can be recycled.
9.4. Disposal
Dispose of the components in a professional and environmentally friendly manner. Observe all
legal regulations:
• All depleted or defective batteries must be returned to the retailer.
• Only ship the batteries if the housing is undamaged.
• Tape open contacts and pack the battery so that it does not move in the packaging.
• Inform your parcel service that the goods are dangerous goods. Please also note any additional
national regulations.
• The wheelchair batteries can be returned wherever they were purchased.
