To deactivate the parking brakes, proceed as follows:
1. Push the levers of the two brakes towards the seat until you feel them engage.
The parking brakes are deactivated.
To activate the parking brakes, proceed as follows:
1. Pull the levers of both brakes towards you until you feel them engage.
The parking brakes are activated.

7.6. Checking the wheelchair before driving
Before every journey, you should get an overview of the condition of the wheelchair and its
components. Please note the following information:
7.6.1. Adjusting the lap belt
To adjust the lap belt, proceed as follows:
1. Pull the belt over your pelvis and lock the buckle.
2. Check whether the circumference of the lap belt is sufficient. If this is not the case, adjust the
length of the belt analogously to step 1.
The lap belt has been adjusted.
7.6.2. Check the charge level of the batteries
To check the charge level, proceed as follows:
1. Press the button above the battery charge level display.
Read the current level of charge on the charge level display.
The current level of charge is indicated by illuminated LEDs.
