9. Disassembly and disposal
9.1. Safety warnings
WARNING
Risk of injury during disassembly
Mechanical or electrical dangers may occur during disassembly.
To avoid this, please note the following:
• The wheelchair may only be dismantled by authorised specialist personnel.
• Do not touch live components.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing.
• Only use suitable and approved tools.
• Also observe the safety instructions in section "2 Safety" on page 09.
9.2. Qualified technicians
WARNING
Risk of injury due to improper disassembly
Personnel who are not sufficiently qualified may not be able to disassemble the equipment pro-
perly. Injuries may occur as a result.
The equipment may only be dismantled by authorised and qualified personnel.
Qualified technicians must comply with the following:
• Observe the safety instructions in these operating instructions.
• Wear suitable protective clothing (protective gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
• Use suitable tools.
• Use suitable means of transport and keep transport routes clear.
• Disconnect the power supply (electrical system) and secure it against switching on in accordance
with the relevant
accident prevention regulations.
• Discharge energy storage devices, e. g. batteries or capacitors.
