5.1. Loading
The wheelchair can be loaded into vehicles for transport in the folded state with ramps or lifting
platforms. Please note the following:
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to weight
When loading the wheelchair, there is a risk of the equipment tipping over and falling. To avoid this,
please note the following:
• If possible, always load the wheelchair with a second person when it is folded.
• Only use ramps or lifting platforms to load the wheelchair when unfolded.
• Only use ramps and lifting platforms with the appropriate load capacity.
• Only load the wheelchair with the aid of a ramp if you are able to control the device safely.
CAUTION
Danger of injury by moving components
When loading the wheelchair without a ramp or lifting platform, dangers can occur due to the
equipment's moving parts. To avoid this, please note the following:
• Activate the parking brakes.
• Before loading, remove all moving parts such as the operating module and store them in the
transport bag (under the seat).
• Make sure that the wheelchair is fully secured when folded or unfolded
(see section "7 Operating the wheelchair" on page 36).
• Only grasp the wheelchair by fixed frame parts.

Please note the following points when loading:
• Before loading, park the car or van on firm
ground and secure the vehicle against rolling away.
• Place the ramps on the surface so that they cannot slip.
• Ensure that ramps and lifts are clean and undamaged.
• Proceed up the ramps at the lowest possible speed.
• Make sure the ramps are significantly wider than the wheelchair.
• Proceed up the ramps without stopping to prevent rolling back.
• If the wheelchair is loaded without a loading aid, always lift it into the vehicle with a second
