6.4. Extending the seat width of the wheelchair (optional)
NOTE
Maximum seat width extension
The seat extension kit is only suitable for extending the seat width
from 48 cm to 56 cm. Do not use the extension kit to achieve an
extension of more than 56 cm.
The seat width of the wheelchair can optionally be extended from 48 cm to 56 cm. To do this, the
seat extension kit must be attached to the wheelchair.
To assemble the extension kit, proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the two screws of the armrest from the seat (see image) and then pull the loosened arm-
rest towards you. Please make sure that the two black bearings remain mounted on the seat.
2. Now put the short sleeve on the bracket on the backrest and the long sleeve on the bracket on
the seat.
3. Now put the armrest on both brackets and mount them with the longer screws of the seat exten-
sion kit. When tightening the screws, make sure that the armrest can still rotate.
4. Do the same on the other side of the seat.
 The seat of the wheelchair was extended with the help of the kit.
