6.1.2. Unfolding
To unfold the wheelchair, proceed as follows:
1. Raise the wheelchair so that it stands on both rear wheels and standing aids.
2. Hold the wheelchair by the backrest and footrest.
3. Press with both hands in the opposite direction until the wheelchair is fully unfolded and the
coupling lock is engaged.
The wheelchair is unfolded.
4. Place the seat cushion on the seat frame.
5. Place the back cushion around the backrest and guide the lap belt through the openings of the
backrest at the level of the armrests. You can adjust the Velcro straps of the backrest and the
seat individually. To do this, loosen the single loop. The tighter you pull the straps, the firmer
the support effect.
6. Attach the operating module according to the instructions in chapter "6.2 Assembling the
operating module".
7. Check the setting of the parking brake (see section "7.4.1 Change operating mode").
The wheelchair is unfolded and ready for use.
6.1.3. Folding the wheelchair
To fold the wheelchair, proceed as follows:
1. Release the coupling lock of the wheelchair and press lightly against the backrest in the direc-
tion of the front wheels to release the coupling lock.
2. Now grasp the footrest and pull it towards the backrest until the wheelchair is folded.
The wheelchair is now folded and can be transported.
