9-3-2. Maintenance of Fixed Screw of Vice
Maintenance Cycle: 6 months, Oil Specification - MOBILITH AW3
1. As friction of the section, apply oil to lubricate at regular interval
2. Use two pieces of #26 open wrenches to fix the adjusting nut at first, then to release the fixed nut
3. Use a #26 wrench to release the adjusting nut after releasing fixed nut
4. Remove the 2 nuts and washers, place them in proper place, then carefully lift the vice jaw and place it in
safe location
5. Clean up the old oil, then, apply new oil MOBILITH AW3 on the screw
6. For maintenance of fixed vice, firstly lift up the 2 inserting pins
7. After maintenance, restore the parts adversely as above illustration
8. Only gap of 0.2mm can ensure the tightening
Spread grease once
per 6 months
