Chapter 3. Lift and Transportation of Machine
The following conditions must be read carefully before machine transporting:
a. Operators of crane or fork lift must be qualified with licenses.
b. The hook must be placed on the gravity center of machine.
c. Cranes or lifts must meet the weight loading of machine to avoid breaking or falling off.
d. A thick carpet or protection wool must be placed between steel rope and machine to avoid paint
scratch or damage.
e. The moving area must not have obstacles or workers to avoid danger.
f. Pay attention to the steel rope when lifting to avoid falling off or moving of rope.
g. The proper transportation/delivery must depend on the physical situation of plant/factory.
3-1. Lift and Transportation Instruction of Machine
3-1-1. Lift and Delivery
a. Crane must be > 1 TON (2200 lbs), with a steel rope, the diameter of the rope >Ø 12.5, as following
illustration:
b. The gravity center is around the left 1/3 of machine; hence, the lift hook must be placed above here to
avoid tilting.
c. Lift operator must keep away from the machine at least 2 meters, to avoid danger while lifting.
