This will turn off the x-ray generation, high voltage, liquid-metal jet pump, turbo vacuum
pump, and roughing pump.
Note that the system will not be vented which means that no vacuum sealing surfaces should
be opened.
2. Open terminal window and write the following:
sudo shutdown -h now
3. Turn off the x-ray high-voltage controller and x-ray system controller units on their switches on the
front of the boxes.
4. Store the MetalJet D2+ source in accordance with the storage instructions in Section 3.2.
