3.5 INSTALLING THE GEARMOTOR

The assembly sequence drawings refer to one of the possible installations. The actual orientation of the gearmotor
could be upside down (the mounting direction of the plate has been determined previously) but this does not affect the
understanding of the procedures to follow.
1. Rest the gearmotor against the plate, inserting the two inserts into the slots (3-1) so that they are posi-
tioned in the guide on the plate (3-2).
2. Slide the gearmotor sideways until the 4 fixing holes on the plate coincide with those on the gearmotor
(4). When the two inserts are inside the plate guide, not in correspondence with the insertion slots, the
weight of the gearmotor is supported by the plate, making it easier to carry out the subsequent installation
operations.
