Maternal/Fetal Monitor
Chapter 2 Overview
The monitor is mainly used to monitor the fetus, the maternal uterine activity and vital signs. It can give alarms
for fetus parameters and mother parameters and display, save and record the relevant data and
waveform. Therefore, it is suitable for use in the parturient room, delivery room and antepartum examination
room.
The monitor is equipped with a 12.1 inch TFT touch screen. All operations on the monitor can be performed
by keys and touch screen.
The monitor can be configured with the maximum configuration including fetus parameter and maternal
vital signs monitoring functions.
2.1 Intended Use
The monitor is applicable to monitoring FHR, FM and TOCO as well as pregnant woman’s and patient’s
ECG, PR, NIBP, SpO2, TEMP and RESP in clinic units.
2.2 Components
The monitor is composed of the main unit (including battery, display screen, recorder andenclosure) and
functional accessories (including ECG cable, NIBP cuff, SpO2 sensor, TEMP probe, FHR transducer, TOCO
transducer, FM marker, and fetal acoustic stimulator).
