5.30 Storingthebattery
When not in use for a long period of time, store the
batteryatachargelevelofapproximately30%to
60%. Check the charge level after 6 months. If
necessary, recharge the battery to about 30% to
60% capacity.
If possible, store the battery in a dry, well ven-
tilated place in temperatures between 10 °C und
40°C. For a long lifespan, it is benecial for a
battery to be stored at room temperature, around
20°C.Forexample,donotleavethebatteryinthe
car in the summer and store it away from direct
sunlight.
Thebattery mustbestored ona non-ammable
surface (stone, concrete).
Do not store the battery near combustible or
highlyammableobjects.
5.31 Pushing aid
Thepushingmakesiteasierforyoutoseto󰀨on
the e-bike. Do not use the pushing aid to ride the
e-bike.
All FLYER e-bikes are equipped with a pushing
aid. This is limited to 6 km/h in the fastest gear.
The FLYER can conveniently be moved out of
underground parking or along steep paths by ac-
tivating the pushing aid.
Switchtopushingaidmodebyrstlypressingand
holding the pushing aid button for more than 1.5
seconds. Then release the button and press the
pushing aid button again to activate pushing aid
mode.
