8.3 Functions
8.3.1 Charging the battery
WARNING
Readandfollowtheinformationonthechargerspecicationplate,
otherwise there is a risk of misuse resulting in serious injuries.
Damaged batteries may not be charged.
The battery can remain on the pedelec during charging or
you can remove the battery and charge it elsewhere.
Type 1 charger
1. Remove the protective cap from the battery.
2. Insert the battery into the charger until it clicks into place.
3. Insert the mains plug into a power outlet.
4. Oncethebatteryischarged,allveLEDs

light up on the
battery continuously. No LED blinks.
5. Remove the main plug from the power outlet after charging.
6. Remove the charging cable from the battery charging socket.
