If you only have a disabled passive
key:
Insert the spare key into the ignition
switch.
Push the ignition switch in and turn it
to position II.
As soon as the ignition is turned to
position II, all your passive keys will
be enabled.
Unlocking the vehicle
Note:
If the vehicle is not unlocked
for longer than five days, the key free
system will enter an energy-saving
mode. This is to prevent the battery
from discharging. When the vehicle
is unlocked while in this mode, the
reaction time of the system may be
a little longer than normal. Unlocking
the vehicle once will deactivate the
energy-saving mode.
Note:
A valid passive key must be
located within the detection range of
that door.
One long flash of the direction
indicators confirms that all the doors,
the tailgate and the fuel filler flap have
been unlocked and that the alarm
has been disarmed.
