What Is IEEE 802.1x Authentication?
IEEE 802.1x is an IEEE standard for wired and wireless networks that limits access from unauthorised network
devices. Your Fuji Xerox machine (supplicant) sends an authentication request to a RADIUS server
(Authentication server) through your access point or HUB. After your request has been verified by the RADIUS
server, your machine can access the network.
