● VVOL Management Information
Additional information called VVOL management information (metadata) is necessary for VVOLs.
VVOL management information is usually synchronized with the master information in the ETER-
NUS SF Storage Cruiser and saved to a dedicated FTV within the
ETERNUS DX container. The dedi-
cated FTV is automatically created in the storage container when creating a VVOL.
