5 Adjust the stacker according to the length of the documents.

Stacker [fi-8290/fi-8270/fi-8250/fi-8250U] (page 87).
6 Load a document in the ADF paper chute (feeder).
For details, refer to How to Load Documents (page 111).
7 Adjust the side guides to the width of the document.
The side guides can be adjusted in accordance with the width of the document (from 220 mm to 240 mm).
Move the side guides so that there is no space between the side guides and the document.
When there is a space between the side guides and the document, the document may be fed skewed.
8 Scan the document with the image scanning application.
For details, refer to the manual/help of the image scanning application.
