Observe the sections in the manual marked with the symbol on the left.
When connecting and disconnecting cables, observe the relevant
notes in this operating manual.
Read the information on the ambient conditions in the t echnical data given in the
"First-time setup" manual and the chapter "
First-time setup of yo ur device", Page 8
before preparing yo ur notebook for use and switching it on for the rst time.
When cleaning the device, please observe the relevant notes in the
section "
Clean ing the notebook", Page 7.
Pay attention to the ad ditional safety notes for devices with radio
components provided in the "Safety" manual.
Please refer to the notes in the c hapter "
Removing and installing
comp onents during servic ing", Page 37.

Switch the notebook off when it is not in use. S witch off external, connected devices if you
are not using them. If you use the energy saving functions, the no tebook uses less energy.
You will then be able to work for longer before having to recharge the battery.
