Connecting an external monitor
You can connect an external monitor to the analogue VGA monitor connection of the
notebook. Screen output is limited to a maximum of two screens at any one time (see
"
Key combinations", P age 16, section "Toggle output screen").

Switch off the notebo ok and the external monitor.
Connect the data cable of the external monitor to the monitor port of the notebook.
First switch on the external monitor and then the notebook.
Using the
Fn
+
F10
key combination, you can toggle back and forth between
the external monitor and the notebook’s LCD screen.
You can display the same picture on the external monitor and the
notebook LCD screen simultaneously.
Setting th e refresh rate for your extern al monitor

If the refresh rate set is too high, the monitor may be damaged. Please see the
documentation included with your monitor for the maximum possible refre sh rate.
By setting the optimum refresh rate you w ill avoid screen icker.
Set the appropriate refresh rat e for the type of monitor connected.

Personalization : Ad just screen resolution.

Select Advanced Settings Monitor.
Select Screen Refresh Rate

Click Apply and OK.
