Using wireless LAN access
• Requirement: You have a wireless LAN and the corresponding access da ta.
► Select Start - Settings - Network connections.
The Network connections w indow opens.
► In the window, double-click on the entry Wireless network connection.
The Wire less network connection windo w opens.
► Under Select wireless network, select the desired wireless LAN and con firm with Connect.
► If required, enter the corresponding access data (e.g. network key, password).
The connection to the wireless LAN is established.
Access via UMTS
You c an purchase the accessories f or UMTS reception from your retailer
or your Fujitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
You will find information on establishing the connection with the UMTS
network in the documentation for the hardw are used.
Your device can connect with the Internet via UMTS. To do this, use one of
the following t ypes of connection:
• USB dongle
a USB stick with your mobile pho
ne provider ’s SIM c ard
• a mobile end-device (e.g. m obile phone) with Bluetooth connection
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mob
ile ph one) with data cab le
