Installing/Removing the Server into/from the Rack Hardware Installation
Mounting the telescopic rails on Vario Rails

Ê Position (1) the left rail onto the support bracket (b) by inserting the small
horizontal lead (c) in the corresponding hole.
Ê Press the rail together (2), position it onto the front support upright, and
release it again. This will clamp the rail between the front left support upright
and the support bracket. The rail will be adjust automatically in the rack
clearance depth.
Ê Secure the rail on the support upright (a) and on the support bracket (b),
each with two screws M5x10 including plugwashers (3).
Ê Repeat the steps with the right rail (to be mounted on the right support
uprights).
Ê Mount the PRIMECENTER/DataCenter Rack cable management as
described in the Technical Manual of the PRIMECENTER Rack.
Ê Mount the server (see section “Installing the Server” on page 42).
Ê With the server inserted route the cables as described in the technical
manual of the corresponding rack.
