8.1.2 Adding a hot-plug Power Supply Unit
Ê Insert the second power supply unit, lock it in the free location (see section
“Replacing a Hot-plug Power Supply Unit”) and connect it to the line voltage
(see section “Connecting the Server to the Line Voltage” on page 45).

V CAUTION!
Before replacing a non defective power supply unit in a non-redundant
configuration (only one power supply unit present) the server must be
switched OFF.
Ê Remove the cable from the installed power supply unit.
Ê Push the transport look (green latch) in the direction of the arrow (1) and pull
the power supply unit out of the location (2).
Ê Insert the new power supply unit in the empty location until it engages.
I Make sure that the power supply unit engages correctly in the mounting
location and is locked in position.
This is the only way to avoid the power supply unit being shaken out of
its mountings and damaged during transport.
Ê Connect up the power supply unit.
