Viewing Gauges
To view analog or digital engine gauges from the Home screen, touch Information > Engine.
NOTE: You must be connected to a NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) 2000 network
capable of sensing engine data to view the gauges. See the GPSMAP 4000/5000 Series Installation
Instructions for details.
To select analog or digital gauges:
1. To view the Gauges from the Home screen, touch Information > Engine.
2. To select an analog or digital screen, touch Menu from the Engine Gauges screen.
NOTE: For more than two engines, you can only use the digital gauges. For one or two engines, you
can switch between analog and digital gauges.
Viewing Fuel Gauges
To view fuel gauges from the Home screen, touch Information > Fuel. Fuel ow for each engine,
total fuel ow, fuel level in each tank, total fuel remaining, fuel economy, and the range for your
boat are shown.
To reset the odometer (located on the speedometer), select Reset Odometer.
NOTE: To view fuel information, your unit must be connected to an external fuel sensor, such as the
Garmin GFS 10.
To synchronize your fuel gauges with your fuel:
From the Home screen touch Information > Fuel > Menu.
Fill Up All Tanks—Select when your tank is full. An estimate of the total fuel is shown. Adjust
if necessary.
Add Fuel To Boat—Select when you have added less than a full tank. An estimate of the fuel
added is shown. Adjust if necessary.
Set Total Fuel Onboard—Select to specify the total fuel in your tanks.
Econ Source—Select to specify the speed source (GPS Speed or Water Speed) for the fuel
economy gauge.
Reset Odometer—Select to reset the odometer (located on the speedometer).
