If the IN MSG and OUT MSG indicators are flashing alternately every second, the issue might stem from several causes: * An EEPROM checksum error. * Incorrect PLC backplane initialization. * Errors during the initialization of the LONWORKS network interface. * Incorrect network interface configuration. Try power cycling the LBIM. Also, examine the network variable mapping for overlaps and correct it if needed. After making corrections, download the configuration again and power cycle the LBIM.
