STEAM SUPPLY QUALITY
It shall be the customer’s responsibility to provide condensate-free steam
between 97% and 100% saturated vapor. Failure to comply with this
requirement may result in decreased sterilizer function, performance, and
reliability.
Two methods which may assist in meeting this requirement are:
• Installing a thermodynamic steam trap and associated piping as shown
in Figure 7–1.
• Installing an MP-106 Steam Conditioning Package (Figure 7–2 on page
7–4) which may be purchased from Getinge.
