SECTION 8 FUNCTIONAL CHECK
INSTALLATION CHECK
INSPECTION BY INSTALLERS Upon completion of installation:
1. Inspect and remove any debris.
2. Tighten any loose hardware.
3. Check that utilities are connected properly and piping and wiring
comply with all applicable codes.
CAUTION
Be sure wires, cables, and tubing are routed and secured away from steam
lines.
4. Check that sterilizer is anchored to the floor and seismic anchoring (if
required) complies with all applicable codes.
5. Check that face panels are installed and secure.
6. Check that cabinet panels (optional) are installed and secure.
FINAL INSPECTION BY GETINGE The sterilizer is not to be operated until the installation is inspected by a
Getinge representative.
VALIDATION BY CUSTOMER This sterilizer allows the user to modify cycle settings which may result in
cycle parameters that will not achieve the desired sterility assurance level
(SAL). The customer is responsible for validation of any cycles that use
parameters other than the factory set parameters.
NOTE
Operating instructions for the sterilizer are beyond the scope of this manual.
Read the User Manual before operating the sterilizer.
