4.01.5.1 Editing a Menu Item Preset
Press the [MENU] key
twice (2x)
Use arrow keys [2] UP [8]
DOWN to scroll through list to
the desired menu preset to edit.
Press the [EDIT] key to select &
display the current settings.
Use arrow keys [2] [8] to scroll move cursor
[‐‐>] until it points to the preset item you want to
edit:
[NAME]
[TIME]
[STIR OVERRIDE]
[FISH FILTER]
Press [START] to select the item.
Press the [START] key to begin edit
Method 1 Spell Out Name
Select the item Name as
shown on left. Flashing
cursor is positioned at 1st
letter. Use arrow keys [2]
[8] to scroll through
alphabet. Character at
cursor changes while
scrolling ... stop at desired
character. Use arrow key [6]
(right) to move cursor to
next character and repeat
until name is spelled.
When finished editing, press [START] to Save
OR • press [CLEAR] to Cancel and Exit
without saving

Method 2 Select from Catalog of Names
Select Name as shown on
left. Flashing cursor is
positioned at 1st letter.
Press [0] key to open
Catalog of programmed
Names and use arrow keys
[2] [8] to scroll through
list, stop on choice. Press
[START] to copy it to the
itembeing edited and
return to previous display.
If done, press [START] to
Save
OR
Press [CLEAR] to
Cancel and Exit
without saving • OR
Press [0] to reopen
Catalog.
Editing [NAME] two different methods can be used
to edit NAME.
