Tuning to a radio station using the automatic station
search
1 In the »TUNER« menu, press the »MENU« button on the remote control.
– The »TUNER MENU« appears.
2 In the »TUNER MENU« select the »SEARCH MODE« item by pressing
»A« or »S« and then »OK« to confirm.
– The »TUNER SEARCH« menu appears.
3 From the »TUNER SEARCH« menu, select the »AUTOMATIC MODE«
item by pressing »A« or »S« and then »OK« to confirm.
4 Start the station search by pressing »

– The search stops as soon as a radio station with a sufficiently strong signal
is found.
– The »%« symbol appears in the display. The HiFi checks whether the
station is already assigned to one of the preset station numbers and
displays the frequency or the name of the station. If the radio station is not
already stored in the memory, store it now – see Step 5.
– After a short while the remote control display shows the frequency or the
name of the station.
Note:
If the search did not locate the radio station you wanted, press »

« to resume the search.
5 Select »MEMO« to store the station.
– The radio station is assigned the next free preset number.
Note:
If all the preset station numbers are full, the message »MEM FULL« briefly
appears in the HiFi display.
