Tuning to a radio station using the manual station
search
1 In the »TUNER« menu, press the »MENU« button on the remote control.
– The »TUNER MENU« appears.
2 In the »TUNER MENU« select the »SEARCH MODE« item by pressing
»A« or »S« and then »OK« to confirm.
– The »TUNER SEARCH« menu appears.
3 From the »TUNER SEARCH« menu, select the »MANUAL MODE« item by
pressing »A« and then »OK« to confirm.
4 Start the station search by pressing »

« or »
8
« once.
– Each time you press the button the frequency changes by 25 kHz.
– If the HiFi finds a radio station the »%« symbol appears in the
display. The radio station is correctly tuned when the arrow is directly in
the middle.
Note:
If you keep pressing »
9
« or »
8
« on the HiFi the search speed increases.
If you also want to store mono radio stations with weak signals, you must
select the Mono setting (see Page 29).
5 Select »MEMO« to store the station.
– The radio station is assigned the next free preset number.
Note:
If all the preset station numbers are full, the message »MEM FULL« briefly
appears in the HiFi display.
