CONNECTION AND PREPARATION

Connecting the antenna
1 Plug the rooftop antenna connector into the »FM-ANTENNA« socket on the
HiFi.
Note:
If you do not have a rooftop antenna use the auxiliary wire aerial supplied.
This antenna provides a reasonably good reception for local stations.
Do not shorten the auxiliary antenna.
Connecting headphones
1 Insert the headphone plug into the »HEADPHONES y« jack on the HiFi.
– The headphones output is always active.
– The HiFi system loudspeakers can be switched on and off using the
»SPEAKERS« menu (see Page 27).
Connecting the mains cable
1 Plug the mains cable into the socket.
Setting up the communication antenna
1 Put the communication antenna in an upright position.
