Switching on the mains switches
1 Press the »POWER« buttons on the loudspeakers to switch them to Stand-by
mode.
– The red indicators in the »POWER« buttons light up.
2 Switch on the HiFi by pressing the »OI« mains switch on the back of the
HiFi.
– The HiFi switches on with the source which was previously selected and the
loudspeakers in room 1 switch themselves on automatically. The green
indicator beside the »ON/OFF

« button on the HiFi lights up.
Note:
If the HiFi system had been in Stand-by mode before it was turned off using
the »OI« mains switch, it automatically returns to Stand-by if you then press
the »OI« switch again. The red indicator beside the »ON/OFF
ǼǼ
« button
on the HiFi lights up.
Always switch off the mains switches on the loudspeakers before you turn off
the HiFi with the »OI« mains switch.
Switching on from Stand-by ...
... using the Stand-by buttons
1 Press »ON/OFF

« on the remote control.
– The green indicators beside the »ON/OFF

« button and in the
»POWER« buttons on the loudspeakers light up.
– Only the loudspeakers in room 1 are switched on automatically. If you are
using additional loudspeakers and these are in Stand-by mode, you must
select them and switch them on using the remote control »SELECT ROOM«
menu.
– When you first switch on the HiFi system it is muted for approximately three
seconds.
– The source which was selected before the HiFi was switched off is
automatically activated.
