Flashing yellow
The port LEDs work in conjunction to indicate the IRF member ID
of the switch. For example, if the LED for port 5 is steady green,
the IRF member ID of the switch is 5.
SFP/SFP+ port LED

Flashing green The port is sending or receiving data.

• No link is present on the port.
• The mode LED is operating in IRF mode (available only for PoE switch

models)
10/100BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port LED and
10/100/1000BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port LED
On a PoE switch, the 10/100BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port LEDs or 10/100/1000BASE-T
autosensing Ethernet port LEDs work in conjunction with the mode LED to indicate the operating
state of the 10/100BASE-T autosensing Ethernet ports or 10/100/1000BASE-T autosensing
Ethernet ports and the switch from different aspects. See Table 38 for the LED description.
Among the non-PoE switch models, only the S5560S-28DP-S switch supports port LED mode
switching. The 10/100/1000BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port LEDs on the switch work in
conjunction with the mode LED to indicate the operating state of the 10/100/1000BASE-T
autosensing Ethernet ports and the switch from different aspects. See Table 38 for the LED
description.
Table 39 describes the 100/1000BASE-T autosensing Ethernet port LEDs and 10/100/1000BASE-T
autosensing Ethernet ports LEDs on non-PoE switches (except the S5560S-28DP-SI switch).
