Connecting an AC power cord to the switch
To connect an AC power cord to a switch that uses fixed power modules:
1. Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably grounded.
2. Attach the hooks of the bail latch into the holes on the two sides of the AC-input power receptacle,
and pull the bail latch upwards (see Figure 40).
3. Conne
ct one end of the AC power cord to the AC-input power receptacle on the switch (see callout
1 in Figure 41).
4. Pull the bail la
tch down to secure the plug to the power receptacle (see callout 2 in Figure 41).
5. Connect the other end of th
e power cord to the AC power outlet.
