SFP port
The S5560-30F-EI switch provides 24 fixed SFP ports. The S5560-34C-EI switch provides eight fixed SFP
ports. You can install the FE SFP modules in Table 22 and GE SFP
transceiver modules and cables
in Table 23 in
the SFP ports.

• The SFP-FE-LX-SM1310-BIDI and SFP-FE-LX-SM1550-BIDI modules must be used in pairs.
• To install multiple SFP-GE-LH100-SM1550 transceiver modules on the S5560-30F-EI and S5560-34C-EI
switches, separate these transceiver modules by other types of transceiver modules. For example, you
can install the SFP-GE-LH100-SM1550 transceiver modules in ports 1 and 2, other transceiver modules
in ports 3 and 4, and the SFP-GE-LH100-SM1550 transceiver modules in ports 5 and 6.
NOTE:
• As a best practice, use only H3C SFP transceiver modules and cables for the SFP ports.
• The H3C SFP transceiver modules and cables available for the SFP ports are subject to chan

SFP+ port
The switch provides four fixed SFP+ ports on the front panel. To connect the peer SFP+ ports over a long
distance, use SFP/SFP+ transceiver modules and fibers. To connect the peer SFP+ ports over a short
distance, use SFP/SFP+ cables. You can install the GE SFP transceiver modules and cables in Table 23,
